Peace

What is peace?
Is it freedom?
Is it a feeling?
Or is it a sense of feeling free?

Sitting by a river,
and watching the water flowing by.
Throwing a stick into the river,
and watching the stick bobbing up and down
while it floats down the river.

What is peace?
Is it freedom?
Is it a feeling?
Or is it a sense of feeling free?

Sitting by a lake,
throwing rocks into the water.
Watching the rings, from the rocks,
form and then disappear.
Or sitting by a lake
with a fishing pole in your hands.
It is a peaceful feeling

What is peace?
Is it freedom?
Is it a feeling?
Or is it a sense of feeling free?

Sitting in a church,
all alone,
talking to God,
and listening for His reply.
Then I feel at peace;
feeling God’s love.
I wish that feeling to everyone;
to feel at peace.

An 8.5 by 11 Laminated Magnetic Shopping List was designed to attach to any metal surface, such as your fridge. Written on the right side there is an inspirational poem.
