What is Important? 

Every day I struggle with my life.
How to make ends meet,
how to do the right things,
how to make the right decisions.
Throughout my day,
I worry about things
that are out of my control.

But what is important for me?
I always get tied up
 with little things throughout my day.
What he or she is thinking about me?
Do I have enough money
to make it through the month?
What if?

These questions and worries are
floating through my mind.
At the end of the day
 these thoughts are not important.
But what?

What is important?
What is life really about?
At the end of each day,
I thank God for guiding me
 through my daily struggles.

If I can be thankful to God
I know what is important.
