Give me patience
Lord,
to make it through this day.
When I can’t
do the things
I need to get done,
because of my hands are too spastic
Give me patience,
Lord.
When my tongue is
so spastic and sore,
and I cannot say a word.
Give me patience,
Lord.
When nobody can
understand a word
I am trying to say.
Give me patience,
Lord.
When I am feeling frustrated
and I would like
to give up.
Give me patience.
Lord.
Lord,
give me the patience
I need to get through my day.
