Grateful
Throughout our life
when problems pop up, we ask "Why?"
"Why did this happen."
And then we forget to be grateful.
Grateful for what?
Once I sat back thinking.
Thinking about what I have,
and what I don't have.
It's really hard not to be thankful.
I have a speech problem
and I have to repeat myself,
and sometimes
no one can understand me.
But I am still grateful
to God that I can communicate.
When I feel inadequate,
I count the things
that I should be grateful for,
then I thank God for them.
