A Day To Celebrate

A baby was born in a manger,
because there was no room at the inn.

After 2000 years
we still take a day off
to celebrate his birthday.
Gift giving takes place
 on this date,
but did we forget why?
Why we give gifts?

What is the reason?
Is this day a holiday,
or something more?

God sent his son
as a newborn to be the savior;
A little baby
to change the world.

If we lose the meaning of this day,
we lose the meaning of life.
