When I wake up each morning
I try to remember to say
this prayer.
I thank you my God
for giving me another day,
filled with new challenges
and opportunities.
Please guide me
through today
so I don't get lost.
Help me to remember
yesterday is in the past,
tomorrow is coming
but today I should live
as it is the best day of my life.
Help me to remember
that each challenge is a gift
from you to make
me a better person.
Every challenge
leads to a new opportunity
to make the world
a better place.
