The Meaning of Christmas

Two tired travelers
came looking for a place at the inn.
But there was no place for them
to rest their heads.
They found a place in a barn.

A king was born on that night
to the travelers,
between the cows and sheep.

Years have passed.
We still take a day out of each year
to celebrate His birthday.
People give gifts to loved ones.
The gift given is a sign of love.
Everyone is friendly around that day,
cards come in the mail,
because of one day.
his day is Christmas.
We often forget the reason for this day.
A month before,
we are running around to buy gifts,
we get caught up in the commercialization
and lose the real meaning of Christmas.

The real meaning of Christmas is:
a baby was born 2000 years ago.
Jesus Christ!
