King of Kings
A young lady said, “Yes”
to God 2000 years ago.
When the angel of the Lord,
asked her to be a mother
of God’s son.
On that night when
the lady gave birth to her son,
she was traveling on a donkey
with her husband all day.
And on that night,
there was no room
at the inn.
So they stayed in the barn,
with the cows, donkeys and sheep.
That night a baby was born
and he laid in a manger.
That’s how a king of kings
enters the world,
as a poor child.
To show the world that
what you own does not matter,
but who you are does.
