Struggles And Gifts

Sometimes
I struggle
with my speech
to say something,
with my hands
to do my daily tasks,
also with my legs
so I don’t fall
when I am walking.

The other evening
I was praying for
the Holy Spirit
to enter into my heart.
Then a thought flowed
through my mind.
“Are my struggles
a gift from God?”

Each of my struggles
that I have overcome,
my relationship
with the Lord grows deeper.

I gain wisdom
through my struggles
that I might not have.

When you are struggling
ask God for guidance
and you will gain wisdom.
