My Blessing

What is a blessing?
My family, my gifts,
my life, and friends.

God has blessed me
each day of my life
with people
that I come in contact with.

I am blessed,
because people come
into my home to help me
to make it through my day.

I am blessed
when I go to church,
because God makes me
feel welcome
and makes me feel
like I am special.

After church
someone would help me
to zip up my coat,
and if it is icy
someone would
walk me to my car.

I am blessed.
