Pray To The Holy Spirit

The last few weeks
were tough
and I felt like giving up.
Giving up on everything.

Yes, giving up,
so I said
this little prayer.

Lord Jesus,
send your spirit
into my heart.

Light up
my darkness of my heart
with the light
of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus,
send your spirit
deep into my heart,
where pain and self doubt lies.

Lord Jesus,
send the fire of the Holy Spirit
to burn out
my pain and self doubt
in my heart.

Thank you Jesus
