Living with Prayer

Some days,
I take the time to pray
a few times a day.

Other days
I get so busy
and I don’t make
the effort to pray,
talking with God,
talking with my friend Jesus.

God called me
to be a single man.
I believe a part of being single,
is spending the time in prayer.

If my life gets to busy
and sometimes I cut back
in my prayer time,
I get out of focus.

I know that
if I take the time to pray
my day is easier.
